Professional Experience

Began 30+ year career as a prosecutor, then spent 18 years doing insurance defense litigation with McLaughlin, Hendon, Miller, and Croy representing both individual and corporate insureds in all types of personal injury cases, including premises liability and motor vehicle collisions. In 2007 started Miller Legal Services representing plaintiffs in personal injury actions and as well as conducting mediations.

Began mediating cases in 2007 and have participated in hundreds of mediations as an attorney over a 30+ year career.

ADR Fees

Cases Conducted Virtually: $135.00 per hour, per party; $105.00 per hour, per party for three or more parties; two-hour minimum. No administrative fee.

Cancellation Fee: Two hours if less than 48 business day hours’ notice.

Cases Conducted In-Person: $190.00 per hour, per party; $150.00 per hour, per party for three or more parties; three-hour minimum. No administrative fee. Travel rate for over two hours: $95.00 per hour, per party.

Cancellation Fee: Three hours if less than 48 business day hours’ notice.

Admitted to State Bar of Georgia, 1981. Admitted to practice in all State and Superior Courts in Georgia as well as the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia. Admitted in Federal Courts of the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, as well as 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
